Cluster University of Jammu is estab. under the provisio of Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Uni. Act 2016 and is an initiative of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme, RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan), to create new universities through upgradation of existing colleges and conversion of colleges in a cluster.
The Government College of Education Jammu established in 1954, has been constantly moving forward. It is the only government educational institution imparting teacher education in Jammu region. Three year B.Ed-M.Ed integrated course after P.G has been started this year.

All the course work is having the components of the sessional work and so a separate Notebook is to developed for the continuous progress to be reflected in there and at the end of the semester , the examiner would be conducting the exam from it. In reference to all the above mentioned, the students are to use the latest technology like: 1. Skype/ Viber to develop 5 minutes video presentation and it is to be uploaded to the other student’s profile. 2. How to operate and use EDUSAT. The difference between Hub and SIT’s. 3. Critical analysis of Teaching aids and their applications in instruction and learning 4. Critical analysis of a computer based media packages with reference to its use in learning process. 5. Critical analysis of the different instructional packages developed by different agencies/institutions. 6. Interventions of educational technology in the current practices of teacher training programmes in India. 7. Preparation of Learning Object Repository (LOR). 8. Preparation and presentation of slides for teaching any topic at the school level.
The candidate has to attempt five questions in all. First question will be compulsory comprising of four short answer type questions spread over complete syllabus. Remaining four questions will be of long answer type taken from unit second to fifth having internal choice within each unit. Each question will have the weightage of 12 marks.
