A student will be eligible for promotion for Semester-I to II if he/she has – (A) secured Pass Marks in Internal Assessment at least 75% of the subjects/papers of the Semester –I as the case may be. (B) has appeared in at least one of the papers of Semester End Examination of Semester I as the case may be.
A student will be eligible for promotion from Semester-II to III provided he/she has Earned atleast 50% of the total Credits for the subjects/papers of theory /practicals of Semester’-I as the case may be and passed in Internal Assessment atleast 75% of the subjects/papers of Semester-II as the case may be. Note: the eligibility for admission of students to Semester-III of that stands fixed as passed 5o% of. the credits, shall be rounded off to nearest lower side where 5o% of credits comes to the odd number and no combination/permutation of subjects/ papers makes it to that odd number of credits. For example where a course is of 22 credits and the 50% of credits is odd (11 credits), the eligibility shall be rounded off to 10 credits. Tap for Notification of 10 Credit. First Group: CORE COURSES(C): It includes 3 main papers for e.g The subject combination you have chosen. there credit weightage is: SUBJECT 1 = 6 CREDIT POINTS. SUBJECT 2 = 6 CREDIT POINTS. SUBJECT 3 = 6 CREDIT POINTS. TOTAL 6+6+6+= 18 CREDITS. If your Main Subject have Practical then 6 CREDIT = (4 CREDIT of Theory + 2 CREDIT of Practical) Second Group: ABILITY ENHANCEMENT COMPULSORY COURSE(AECC): this Group contains Two papers: SUBJECT 4 = (AECC1A(Communication English/Hindi/MIL)) = 2 Credit points. SUBJECT 5 = AECC 2A(EVS) = 2 Credit points. So Total Credit points in Sem First is 18+2+2= 22 Credit points. If you were Passed in the paper you will earn Full Credit of each subject but no credit if the paper was failed. For Admission you must have earned 10 or more credit Points .

FOR B.A/B.COM/B.SC(HOME SCIENCE) :- In Semester Third: Total Credits : 22 Credits Minimum credit for Admissions: 10 Credits Main 3 Core Courses (papers) have 6 Credits each i.e 6+6+6=18 credits and Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) have 04 Credits , So total credit is 6+6+6+4=22 credits , For admission 50% Credits required i.e 10 Credits. FOR B.SC (Medical/Non Medical :- In Semester Third: Total Credits : 24 Credits Minimum credit for Admissions: 12 Credits Main 3 Core Courses (papers) have 6 Credits each i.e 6+6+6=18 credits, ABILITY ENHANCEMENT COMPULSORY COURSE(AECC) have 02 credits and Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) have 04 Credits , So total credit is 6+6+6+4+4=24 credits , For admission 50% Credits required i.e 12 Credits FOR BCA:- In Semester Third: Total Credits : 22 Credits Minimum credit for Admissions: 10 Credits Main 4 Core Courses (papers) 01 Main Paper(c9) have 06 Credits other 03 main Papers have 04 Credits each i.e 06+04+04+04=18 credits and Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) have 04 Credits , So total credit is 06+04+04+04+04=22 credits , For admission 50% Credits required i.e 10 Credits. FOR BBA / B.A HONOURS/ B .COM HONOURS :- In Semester Third: Total Credits : 28 Credits Minimum credit for Admissions: 14 Credits Main 03 Core Courses (papers) Papers have 06 Credits each i.e 06+06+06=18 credits, Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) have 04 Credits and Elective Generic(EN) have 06 credits , So total credit is 06+06+06+04+06=28 credits , For admission 50% Credits required i.e 14 Credits .
A student will be eligible for promotion for Semester-V to VI if he/she has – (A) secured Pass Marks in Internal Assessment at least 75% of the subjects/papers of the Semester -V as the case may be.
